Rich chocolate satin envelops the torso in such a gorgeous 1950s va va voom way. Sweetheart bustline that properly frames the bosom with matching pleated mesh and satin edges. Black cording detail loops its way across the top. The dress is tailored to be cupped so it creates the most wonderful anatomical fit for the bosom. Curvature of the dress allows the hips to also be framed properly, essentially your entire body will be framed properly like a 55’ Caddy. Skirt has a raised pleated front, just like the opening of a stage curtain, ready to give your legs the perfect stage for a show. A single black rose for the talent sewn in the middle. Interior is completely boned, lined in white cotton. Closes with a lengthy side metal zipper, whoever made this was a friend to women and their hairstyles (no over the head entrances), you go in from the side stage door like proper talent.
Curtain call…a tradition for stage performers of all kinds to say their thank yous and goodbyes!
Finish the look with your showiest showgirl heels. Or even a pair of clear heels making you look fabulously barelegged. Showgirl hair too, big and bold! Up or down!

Our vintage clothing pieces are true antiques, not modern reproductions or facsimiles. As such, unless specifically stated that they are “new old stock”, each piece should be considered a previously worn treasure that will show varying levels of use and potential condition issues. Please read every section of our vintage clothing product pages to best understand exactly what you are purchasing before placing your order. All vintage clothing is sold “as is” with no warranty and all vintage clothing sales are final. Please reach out before you purchase if you have any questions about a specific piece and one of our knowledgeable customer support agents will be glad to assist you.
Finding undiscovered troves of brand new vintage clothing is exceptionally rare, so each item in our vintage shop is a unique listing with a first-come, first-served setup. We cannot hold or reserve items and once they have sold, it is unlikely that we will ever get another in our store again. If you see something you love, make sure to buy it or it might not be here on your next visit.
